While I can not say I have much experience with using Logan medical facilities in Shelby yet since I've moved here in January.  I am, however, glad to know there are services here if or when I need the services.  Hopefully I do not need the services anytime soon though, because if I do I am either deathly sick or in some serious pain!!  I have, however, gotten to know some of the staff from Logan and they have been great to work with on anything I bring to them Chamber related. Many of the staff participate in the events and meetings that the Chamber sponsors or hosts.  Logan Health tries and does play a big role in the community.  Besides the obvious providing healthcare services and employing many staff helping to fuel the local economy.  Logan Health also gives back to the community in many activities and or outreach programs locally.  Just recently the Chamber held the Sunburst (North Toole County) Appreciation Picnic, Kelsey Smedsrud of Logan Health offered to come up to help serve food as just one example.

Other examples include where they are involved within the community:  Chamber Banquet Sponsor, Community tailgate BBQ with Shelby High School, National Night Out, Community Health Fair, School Supply Drive for Shelby Schools, Assisted Living Facility Rummage Sale to support Toole County Medical Auxiliary, Sponsor Bake Sale to Support Toole County Medical Auxiliary, Assisted Living Facility Open House, Family & Friends BBQ, Family Pancake Supper Benefit for activities department, Sponsor Toole County Health Foundation Golf Tournament, Marias Fair Sponsor, Shelby Water Swim Team Sponsor, Recognize local high school students with leadership award throughout the school year, providing scholarships for local high school seniors pursuing degree in healthcare, Collaborate with high school Med Program to provide hands-on demonstrations & activities from local healthcare professionals, Award grants to local schools and teachers, Walk to School Program, Logan Health is official healthcare sponsor for Montana High School Association, Hi-Like Brawl of the Wild Food Drive donation to Sagebrush Food Pantry, Christmas Light Parade/Marias Fair Parade, 4-H Sponsorships/Donations, Arbour Day Clean up day, Montana Range Days Sponsor, along with providing Other Various Awards throughout the community.  As a business owner or local resident of Toole County or surrounding areas alike, it's important to know that places are involved & giving back to the community!!  I look forward to the continued working relationship between the Chamber and Logan Health in the future!
