Montana has over 128 cities and towns. Northtown Drug is one of over 120 independent pharmacies in MT.  We have 4 pharmacists, 4 licensed pharmacy technicians, excellent clerks, and a fabulous chef!

We offer prescription services and over the counter medications, medication therapy management and drug information for prescribers and their patients from all over Montana and many parts of the country and Canada. Long term care services, immunizations, free delivery, unit dose packaging, student support, medical equipment, and diabetic care are some of the other services we provide.  We offer a new kind of pharmacy “fountain” making delicious protein shakes, soups, sandwiches, ice cream, and more.

A unique beer and wine section adds to our wellness and gift product selection.

Independent community pharmacies support the local tax base, sponsor local events, donate to local charities, volunteer time, and their employees contribute to the local economy.  Northtown is continuing more than 100 years of community pharmacy and small business support of Shelby following in the footsteps of Wells Drug and Marra Drug.

During a time where big corporations are putting profits ahead of patients, independent pharmacies are a reminder that there is still a place for community based businesses.

Please join us all throughout October, American Pharmacist’s Month, and our 16th year in business, for employee profiles, give-away promotions, and more!

In every community, certain necessities are needed, healthcare options are needed.  But to go along with Healthcare a pharmacy goes hand in hand!!  Ann Clark with Northtown Drug fills that slot very well.  Considering I’m practically a neighbor across the street here at the Chamber, I get to speak with Ann on a fairly regular basis.  Not only does Northtown fill a great necessity here in Shelby, Ann is always very friendly, and to top it off a hard worker.  I see her truck at the store a lot and work long hours.  Definitely obvious she puts in her time working her business!!  Sometimes I feel bad walking into businesses sometimes, wondering if they are thinking what does this guy want this time?!?!  Ann or any of her employees never made me feel that way about walking in and talking about whatever I have on my chamber plate of the day!  Bunch of good people in that establishment!!

Ann and the Pharmacy are great supporters of the community as well.  I can say first hand she’s supported many Chamber functions by either donations, sponsoring events, or good old fashion volunteering time.  The latest she helped with was done with volunteering time, at both the Shelby & Cut Bank appreciation picnics!  Thank you Ann!!  We appreciate it greatly!!  Plus, a huge plus and much Thanks needed, she wrangled up her son & one of his friends to do much of the watering of the main street flowers this summer!!!  That was a huge bind off my shoulders as I still watered the flowers too many times to count, but without them filling a huge void, I can honestly say Shelby would not have had the flowers on main street this year without them.  Huge Thank You!! And for those who appreciate the Main Street Flowers, next time you see Ann, make sure to Thank her!!!

I look forward to the continued working relationship between Ann and the Chamber.

Ohh, did I mention, the food is worth trying out as well. Pretty tasty, my favorite is the Cuban!
