A1 is a full service automotive shop specializing in repairs & maintenance with your automotive needs is just 1 aspect of our business. Our other main focus is the transport of broken down vehicles all around the area. While our greatest volume of calls come within a 200 mile range, we do go anywhere the call needs, whether it's out of state or even into Canada. I took the plunge into owning my own business when I took over A1 in April of 2023 from Jim Anderson, and have been enjoying running my own business ever since. Prior to owning A1, I worked in this line of work for approx. 15 years with both T & T Diesel & Mark’s Tire gaining great hands on experience from both businesses.

A1 is one of those businesses when you need their services, you're sure glad they are here to offer their services. It's great to have them locally to call on when those times arise. Whether you're needing a tow when your vehicle broke down along the roadside somewhere, needing a repair in their shop or just simple maintenance like oil changes or tire alignments.
I signed Chris up as a new member of the Chamber last year, and since then I've gotten to know Chris pretty well. He's always been super supportive of the Chamber whenever I call on him or other community items for that matter. Beyond just being a Chamber Member, A1 has donated towards the Chamber Banquet, sponsored the Zombie Fun Run, purchased calendars to support Main Street Flowers. Almost everyday while watering Main Street Flowers in the heat of the summer, Chris came out from his shop while I was watering the flower pot in front of A1 location offering me water or pop to drink so I wouldn't keel over in dehydration, I appreciated the offers!
Chris treats his customers right too. Just very recently, parts on my Tacoma front end were getting worn out, making a clunking noise everytime I turned the wheel. I took it into A1. Needless to say, the job took a little longer in terms of labor than they anticipated and quoted the job for. When it came time to pay my bill when I picked up my truck, Chris charged me what he quoted... Did not charge me for the extra labor incurred needed for the repair. I appreciated that!! Thank you!!
