Shelby, Montana  59474

Cedar Closet store hours:  Tuesday-Friday 10 am-3 pm, Saturday 10 am-2 pm

Both Cedar Closet and Gift Closet are operated by the Toole County Medical Auxiliary, which are run by volunteers.  There are no paid positions in TCMA.  We help raise funds and all proceeds go toward medical equipment, the care center, assisted living facility and scholarships for Toole County students going into medical fields.

TCMA raises money through hosting different events throughout the year.  Rummage Sales, Valentines Day Bake Sales, Parade of Homes, and the Christmas Tree of Lights.  Cedar Closet and the rummage sales have been the main contributors in their donating efforts.

Our community has many people who do not have the resources, or have limited access to travel, to find clothing and other basic needs.  Our store has a lot to offer and after the fire, the community came together with their time, support, and many donations.  After the fire damage was repaired, we’ve received many compliments from our customers on how beautiful the store is.  We still have our $5.00 Clothing Bag Sale the 1st Saturday of every month as well as other sales throughout the year.

You can drop off bags of clothing after cleaning out your closets, or household items as you purchase new ones.  These donations help others to find and afford these essential daily items.  We’ve been serving the community for over 30 years, and this wouldn't be possible without the generous donations and our volunteers.  Cedar Closet, Gift Closet and Toole County Medical Auxiliary are on Facebook!

For most in the Shelby community, you all know about the Cedar Closet.  For those who do not, it's a great store that Shelby has to offer with good buys.  I am impressed with what the volunteers have done with that store after the fire.  They worked together to make that process quick to get back opened, the store looks great, along with a great selection!  If you have not been in the Cedar Closet since they reopened after the fire, I highly recommend going in to check it out!  I have worked with many of the volunteers of the cedar closet on various projects, they are all hardworking and very community minded.  We are truly blessed in our community to have a store like this locally!
