The Toole County Health Foundation was formed in 2002 with the Mission “to raise and distribute funds to maintain, improve and enhance health care in Toole County and the surrounding area.  Over the last 2 decades the Toole County Health Foundation has raised funds for Family Care Suites, items for pediatric care, the Brittain Home, feasibility study, MRU - C Scan, Lifeline Program, Fetal Heart Monitors, patio furniture for the Care Center as well as in room recliners: and most recently we have remodeled 3 rooms at the Care Center and spilt the cost of the sprinkler system installation and Landscaping at the Brittain Home.

We find funding through a couple of ways.

1)Annual Golf Tournament held August 3 this year at the spectacular Marias Valley Golf and Country Club.  With 18 teams and many sponsors this year, this great event helps raise money for our mission and provides the community with a fun golf event too.

2)Trip of the Month drawings.  Each month we conduct a drawing for a destination trip!  Proceeds from this also goes towards our cause.  Keep an eye for the remaining trips this year in the drawings and when the next Trip of the Month raffle will be again.  Trips range all across the US, and even into Canada or Mexico.  Board Members of Toole County Health Foundation include:  Billiette Coolidge, Bonnie Nickol, Allen Underdal, Marigail Anderson, Marla Hasquet, Teri White & Lauri Tokerud

While brainstorming different businesses or organizations to feature this week.  I found it very fitting to feature Toole County Health Foundation this week now.  One of their main fundraisers was this past weekend (Golf Tournament) along with the Trip of the Month Raffle. Organizations like this help the community in so many great ways by channeling the mission efforts where they are needed.  I know the foundation is in good hands by the board members serving the mission statement.  I have experience with many of them and have helped the Chamber by being members of the Chamber, donating to the Chamber, or volunteering their time to the Chamber.  Great group of people.  If you would like to get involved or learn more information about this great organization, Toole County Health Foundation please visit their Facebook page or speak directly with one of the board members.
